In the Chui region, work continues on the construction and modernization of energy facilities, according to information from the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, the construction of the second phase of the 250 MVA 110/35/10 kV "Kun-Tuu" substation has begun. As part of this initiative, the installation of a power transformer with a capacity of 25 MVA is planned, which will increase the total capacity of the substation to 50 MVA and significantly improve its throughput.
The following activities are planned during the construction works:
— installation of a 110 kV circuit breaker;
— installation of 110 kV disconnectors;
— installation of 7 cells of KRU;
— installation of current and voltage transformers at 110 kV;
— installation of grounding equipment;
— installation of surge arresters at 110 kV.
These activities are aimed at enhancing the reliability of electricity supply for consumers, increasing the capacities of the substation, and promoting the sustainable development of the region's energy infrastructure. The completion of the works is planned for the end of the current year.
