
According to the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, measures are planned in the Talas region in 2026 aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply and preparing for the autumn-winter period. In particular, the power of 32 transformers will be increased, and 10 new devices will be installed.
As part of the installation of new transformers, the following distribution by districts is planned:
* 1 transformer in the Talas district;
* 2 transformers in the Bakai-Ata district;
* 5 transformers in the Manas district;
* 2 transformers in the Aitmatov district.
It should be noted that in 2025, 9 additional transformers were already installed in the region.
Considering the increase in electricity consumption next year, an increase in power for 32 transformers is also planned, among which:
* 9 transformers in the Bakai-Ata district;
* 4 transformers in the Manas district;
* 7 transformers in the city of Talas;
* 5 transformers in the Talas district;
* 7 transformers in the Aitmatov district.
In 2025, the power of 13 transformers was already increased in the region.
Additionally, in 2026, as part of regular capital repairs and technical maintenance of transformers, it is planned to:
* carry out capital repairs on 197 transformers;
* perform technical maintenance on 1266 transformers.
The implementation of these measures will enhance the reliability of the power grids, reduce the number of emergency outages, and provide the population with stable and quality electricity supply.
