In 1996, a plot of land measuring 0.34 hectares with warehouse facilities, which belonged to the Talas District Veterinary Department, was illegally transferred to private ownership. This fact was revealed during an inspection conducted by the Talas city prosecutor's office regarding compliance with land legislation requirements.
Thanks to the prosecutor's measures, this land plot along with its facilities was returned to state ownership. The General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan announced that the total value of the returned property amounts to 16,948,600 soms.
