Montenegro's Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimović made a working visit to Kyrgyzstan. During his visit, he met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Jeenbek Kulubaev, where they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, and culture.
Jeenbek Kulubaev emphasized the significance of this visit for strengthening bilateral ties.
“This is your first visit to Kyrgyzstan as a minister, and it opens a new page in the history of our relations. We have much in common, including geography and economic structure, which will help us quickly identify areas for joint work. In June, we will celebrate 17 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. We have no political disagreements, which allows us to focus on developing cooperation and strengthening economic ties,” noted the head of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.Previously, both countries signed an agreement abolishing visa requirements for diplomats and holders of service passports.
Ervin Ibrahimović expressed hope for the complete abolition of the visa regime for all citizens, which he believes will significantly enhance tourist connections between Montenegro and Kyrgyzstan.
“The opening of the honorary consulate of Montenegro in Kyrgyzstan is an important step. We are interested in cooperation in areas such as economy, culture, education, and agriculture,” added the minister.During Ervin Ibrahimović's visit, the honorary consulate of Montenegro in Kyrgyzstan was also officially opened.
