Specialists from the Hakobanya workshop have taken on an unusual project, transforming the affordable Toyota Probox station wagon into a vehicle styled after the Land Cruiser 70 SUV. This project is called the 70 BOX, also known as "70Yo.70 Destroyer," as reported by the Carscoops portal.

During the work on the vehicle, the front part of the Toyota Probox was completely changed. It now features round LED headlights, a new grille with cells, a massive unpainted plastic bumper, as well as widened front fenders and an updated hood. The appearance of the model now resembles that of the Land Cruiser 70.

To complete the off-road look, the SUV was equipped with a plastic body kit all around, the suspension height was increased, off-road tires were installed, and a roof rack was added. The rear of the vehicle also underwent changes: the original taillights were replaced with rectangular blocks, which are now integrated into the new bumper.

Despite its powerful appearance, the technical specifications remain standard. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 107 hp or a hybrid setup. A continuously variable transmission serves as the gearbox, and the drive can be either front-wheel or all-wheel. Tuners note that the all-wheel-drive version would be a more logical choice for this project.
