Usyk noted that the possibility of a fight with Kabayel instead of the expected trilogy with Fury is still being discussed, and no decision has been made yet. He acknowledged that he is aware of his fans' expectations, but he also considers his personal circumstances and obligations to his family and team. The boxer continues to train and does not rule out the possibility of a match with Agit, whom he described as a strong and tactically savvy opponent:

“Kabayel could become my next opponent instead of the trilogy with Tyson Fury, but I don’t have a final decision yet. I understand what the fans are waiting for, but I have my obligations to my family and team. I continue training and allow for the possibility of a fight with Agit — he is indeed a strong and smart fighter.”

In one of his recent interviews, Usyk also shared plans to have three more fights before retiring. Among the desired opponents, he mentioned Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven, the winner of the Wardley - Dubois fight, as well as a potential third meeting with Tyson Fury.
