Aleksandr Usyk, who remains undefeated, has announced his readiness for a third fight with the famous British boxer Tyson Fury.

“It’s not excluded. It can happen, but we need to get to that point. He wants it, I know, we talked with his manager,” Usyk said on his YouTube channel USYK17.

Let us remind you that Usyk's last fight took place on July 20 at Wembley Stadium in London, where he faced Daniel Dubois. The bout ended in a knockout in the fifth round in favor of Alexander, who defended his title as the undisputed world champion in the heavyweight division.

In his professional career, Usyk currently has 24 victories, 15 of which were won by knockout, and no defeats. He began his professional boxing career in November 2013.

It has also become known that Usyk is preparing to defend his WBC title in a fight against Dutchman Rico Verhoeven, a former kickboxing champion. This bout will take place on May 23 in Giza.

“After a detailed review of the situation, the Board of Governors of the World Boxing Council (WBC) has sanctioned a voluntary title defense of the WBC heavyweight championship by Aleksandr Usyk against the legendary kickboxer Rico Verhoeven. Transitions from kickboxing to boxing are not new. Many Thai boxers have successfully transitioned to professional boxing and fought for WBC titles early in their careers. This WBC decision is in accordance with the organization's rules. The Pyramids of Egypt will make this event historically significant. Many have dreamed of this, including our beloved WBC president José Sulaimán,” the press release states.
