From April 1, starting at 10:00, until April 3, 2026, a total of 28,908 applications for enrollment in first grades were registered in the automated system "Mektep" (1mektep.edu.gov.kg). This was reported by the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry's data, the number of applications by regions is distributed as follows:
* Bishkek — 6211
* Osh Region — 5341
* Jalal-Abad Region — 4715
* Chui Region — 3409
* Batken Region — 3134
* Issyk-Kul Region — 2414
* Naryn Region — 1386
* Osh — 1007
* Talas Region — 964.
It is important to note that this academic year, more than 190 thousand places are allocated for enrolling children across the country.
We remind you that from April 1, electronic registration of children in schools began in the republic. In the first stage, parents (or legal representatives) registered by the school microdistrict can submit applications.
