According to neurologist-vertebrologist Andrei Ratino, the main threat to spinal health lies in insufficient physical activity. On the air of Birinchi Radio, he noted that while previously such issues were mainly addressed by people over 40, currently 15–20% of patients are young people and teenagers under 25.

Ratino emphasized that regular morning exercises, even for 20–30 minutes, can significantly improve overall well-being. "A walk before work or a simple warm-up makes a person more energetic and healthier compared to those who neglect physical activity," he added.

The specialist also highlighted the importance of physical activity in children. He advised parents to limit the time spent watching cartoons, emphasizing that despite their appeal to children, movement should remain a priority. "Even minimal physical exertion helps strengthen the spine," the doctor noted.

In addition, Ratino recommended consulting a massage therapist if necessary, as massage helps strengthen muscles, improves load distribution, and relaxes tense areas, which is crucial for the proper development of movements in children.

In today's world, it is difficult to do without mobile devices; however, they can cause neck problems. In this regard, the doctor advises monitoring posture while working with a phone, taking breaks, and limiting screen time.
