On December 1, the price of Bitcoin sharply decreased on trading platforms, falling below 75,000 euros per coin, as reported by the Kazinform agency, citing Euronews.
The cryptocurrency market continues its decline, which began after reaching record highs in October.
Against the backdrop of prevailing negative sentiment, Bitcoin opened December with a drop of nearly 6% on European markets.
The current value of the cryptocurrency fluctuates around 73,500 euros, significantly lower than the expected level of 78,000 euros. Since reaching a record nearly 110,000 euros in October, the digital currency has been in a state of steady and sharp decline.
Experts point out that the price drop may be related to an increase in liquidations and sell-offs, as investors seek to realize profits from their investments.
