
At a briefing following the sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Chinese ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, shared the country's achievements in social welfare over the past five years. According to her, the per capita income of citizens has increased by 5.4% per year, and more than 60 million new jobs have been created in cities.

Significant attention was also paid to the development of rural areas: the incomes of residents who have escaped poverty increased by almost 40%. Infrastructure improvements have provided all counties with modern highways, and every village has gained access to roads and modern communications.
