

Among the main factors contributing to traffic accidents are: speeding, improper maneuvers, crossing into oncoming traffic while overtaking, driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as non-compliance with traffic rules at intersections and road signs, and ignoring safe distances.
During an operational meeting at the department, shortcomings in current operations were discussed. It was emphasized that when planning activities, it is important to update approaches, avoid repeating old plans, and adapt to modern requirements.
“Traffic inspectors are always under close scrutiny from the public, so it is essential to pay special attention to the quality of service and improvement of operational activities. It was also instructed to focus on digitalization and establishing cooperation with local authorities,” the statement noted.
