According to the police, a signal about the burning car was received at the duty station of the police department on January 20 at 09:53. The vehicle was located on the eastern outskirts of the village of Spartak, in a wasteland near a lake, along the road.
At the scene, it was determined that there were two people inside the car: the driver was seated in the front seat, while the passenger was in the rear right seat. The identities of the victims have been established: the driver was O. E., born in 2000, a resident of the village of Spartak, and the passenger was T. S., born in 2010, a 10th-grade student at Spartak Secondary School.
It is also noted that O. E. purchased the Volkswagen on January 11, 2026, and on January 13, he contacted electrician S. S. regarding a malfunction of the left headlight.
Currently, the remains have been sent to the morgue for forensic examinations, and the investigation is ongoing.
