
At 03:54 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 occurred in southern Kyrgyzstan, according to information from the Institute of Seismology.
The strongest tremors were felt in the villages of Alga-Bas and Kabylan-Kol, where the intensity reached up to 3.5 on the scale. Residents of the villages of Laglan, Toguz-Bulak, and Teeke in the Kara-Suu district also reported ground shaking of up to 3 points.
The epicenter of the seismic activity was located three kilometers northeast of Kabylan-Kol and five kilometers southwest of Alga-Bas.
Preliminary data do not indicate any casualties or damage as a result of this earthquake.
