An incident occurred in the Chui region involving two young men who were detained for participating in a knife fight.
According to the information from the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, at midnight on February 14, 2026, three individuals, while intoxicated, arrived in the village of Petrovka from Bishkek. On Frunze Street, they encountered A.E. and his acquaintances, which led to a verbal altercation that soon escalated into a physical confrontation. During the conflict, one of the participants, T.M., stabbed A.E., after which the suspects fled the scene in a Honda car.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 280 (Hooliganism).
The suspects, T.M. and T.J., born in 2003, were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, forensic examinations are being conducted, and investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all the details of the incident.
