On the night of March 7, an incident occurred in the village of Kara-Jyjach, located in the Alamudun district of Chuy region, resulting in injuries to a 61-year-old man. According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Chuy region, the victim's daughter contacted law enforcement authorities.
Preliminary data indicates that the victim was visiting a friend, and during the consumption of alcohol, a quarrel broke out. The conflict escalated into a fight, during which the host struck his guest with a stick and then pushed him down the steps into the yard. The victim lost consciousness, and his aggressor left the scene without providing assistance.
Currently, the victim is undergoing treatment.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning causing serious harm to health.
Law enforcement authorities successfully located the suspect, I.A., born in 1964, and detained him, placing him in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
