
In the Chui region, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in a serious crime against a person's health.
According to information from the press service of the regional police department, on March 7, 2026, a woman named B.A. reported to the police that her father, B.B., born in 1965, had become a victim of violence by another man.
The incident occurred in the village of Kara-Zhyjach in the Alamudun district, where a conflict arose between B.B. and I.A., born in 1964. Both men were under the influence of alcohol and were consuming alcoholic beverages.
During the quarrel, I.A. struck B.B. several times with his hands and a stick. According to the police, despite the fact that the victim was in serious condition, the suspect pushed him off the steps of the house right into the yard, after which B.B. fell and lost consciousness.
After the incident, I.A. did not assist the victim and fled the scene.
As a result of the incident, B.B. sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the 4th City Clinical Hospital.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Causing serious harm to health).
As a result of operational-search activities, I.A., also born in 1964, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation into this crime is ongoing.
