The incident occurred on February 26, when at 13:06 the police received information that a dead man had been found in one of the households in the village of Chaldovar.
An investigative operational group arrived at the scene and established that on the morning of the same day, a 50-year-old resident of the village had a feast with his 68-year-old neighbor. During the consumption of alcoholic beverages, a conflict arose between them, which soon escalated into a fight. During the scuffle, the homeowner grabbed a knife and stabbed his neighbor in the thigh. The man died from the injury and loss of blood.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 ("Causing serious harm to health") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers promptly detained the suspect, born in 1976, named Sh.R. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, an investigation is underway.
