The body of a man was found in the village of Chaldovar in the Panfilov district. According to the investigation, a 49-year-old local resident is suspected of causing serious bodily harm that led to the death of his neighbor. This information was provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
The police received the report on February 26, 2026, at 13:06. An investigative team promptly arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary data, a conflict occurred around 09:00 in the home of citizen Sh.R., born in 1976, during a joint alcohol consumption with neighbor T.I., born in 1958. During the quarrel, the apartment owner stabbed his neighbor in the right thigh, resulting in the latter dying at the scene from the injury sustained.
At the moment, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning causing serious bodily harm.
The suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Necessary examinations and investigative actions are being conducted. The investigation is ongoing.
