A citizen of Azerbaijan, known as A.S., was detained in Bishkek in a case of large-scale fraud. He posed as an employee of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic and was placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB KR.
Special services reported that one of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic filed a complaint about the actions of a certain Sahab, who, pretending to be an employee of the GKNB KR, deceitfully took possession of 24,100 US dollars and 100,000 soms, promising to help with the release of her son, who is in pre-trial detention.
Authorities also received a report from another citizen of the republic, who recounted how in early September 2025, at the intersection of Erkindik Boulevard and Jibek-Jolu Avenue in Bishkek, near the Bishkek Petroleum gas station, Sahab, posing as a current national security employee, deceitfully took 14,000 US dollars under the pretext of providing employment for Vietnamese citizens in a sewing workshop.
However, after receiving the money, the mentioned fraudster did not fulfill his promises and disappeared, continuing to avoid returning the funds under various pretexts.
Currently, investigative and operational activities are underway regarding this case.
