According to the published data, the air pollution level in Bishkek reached 202 AQI units, which falls into the "very harmful" category for health. In such conditions, children, the elderly, and individuals with respiratory diseases are particularly at risk.

In this anti-rating, Bishkek is only surpassed by Delhi, India, with an AQI of 306, and Lahore, Pakistan, with a reading of 259. Following Bishkek are El-Kuwait (Kuwait) and Chengdu (China).
Ecologists emphasize that at an AQI level above 200, it is recommended to minimize time spent outdoors, avoid physical exertion in fresh air, and wear protective masks.
