Youth teams consisting of players under 23 years old are participating in the competition.
The Kyrgyzstan U-23 national team has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the final stage of the U-23 Asian Cup 2026.
The tournament, which will start on January 6, will gather the 16 best teams in Asia. It is important to note that in September 2025, under the guidance of coach Edmar Lacerda, the team qualified for the Asian Cup in this age category for the first time in its history.
The team will play in Group A, where it will face the national teams of Vietnam, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

1st match — January 6, 2026

The first appearance of the Kyrgyzstan national team will be against the tournament hosts — Saudi Arabia, which will be the opening match of the U-23 Asian Cup 2026.
