The U-23 national team of Kyrgyzstan has started a new phase of preparation for the Asian Cup, which will take place in 2026. The team flew to Antalya (Turkey) on the night of December 2 to 3 and will stay there until December 16 for a training camp, during which friendly matches are scheduled.
Upon returning home, the players will have a short break, and on December 20, they will head to Ajman (UAE) for final preparations for the tournament.
The U-23 Asian Cup will be held from January 6 to 24 in Saudi Arabia, where Kyrgyzstan has been placed in Group "A," facing teams from Vietnam, Jordan, and the tournament hosts — the Saudi Arabian national team.
Before their departure, the General Secretary of the Kyrgyz Football Union, Mederbek Sydykov, met with the players to wish them good luck and fruitful preparation.
