The youth team of Kyrgyzstan in football was unable to qualify for the final stage of the Asian Cup (U-17).

Currently, a qualifying tournament is taking place in Bishkek, in which the national team of Kyrgyzstan is participating.

Six teams are competing in the tournament, playing against each other in a round-robin format, and only one of them, the one that finishes in first place, will earn a spot in the final round of the Asian Cup.

In their first match, the Kyrgyz team suffered a defeat against Yemen with a score of 0:2, and then lost to the Pakistani players, going down 1:3. As a result of these failures, the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan decided to terminate the contract with Austrian coach Alexander Bauer.

On November 26, the matches of the third round of the qualifying tournament took place. At the "Dostuk Arena" stadium in Besh-Kunge, Yemen won against Cambodia with a score of 3:0, while at the Dölön Ömürzakov stadium in Bishkek, Laos defeated Pakistan with a score of 2:1.

After three rounds, Laos and Yemen each have 9 points. On November 30, these teams will meet in a direct confrontation. Even if the national team of Kyrgyzstan wins all three remaining matches, they will only be able to accumulate 9 points and will not be able to surpass their opponents.

Thus, the national team of Kyrgyzstan concludes its participation in the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup.

Today, November 26, in the third round, the Kyrgyz team will face the team from Guam, which has lost its two previous matches with an overall score of 0:18.
