The head coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team (U-17), Alexander Bauer, has left his position by the decision of the Kyrgyz Football Union.

Currently, the team is participating in the qualifying stage of the Youth Asian Cup, which is taking place in Bishkek.

Unfortunately, the Kyrgyz team suffered two defeats in their first matches: 0:2 against Yemen and 1:3 against Pakistan, which significantly reduced their chances of advancing to the final stage of the tournament.

According to the KFU, in the remaining three matches of the qualifying tournament, the team will be temporarily led by Anarbek Ormombekov, who holds the position of technical director of the KFU National Academy.

It is worth noting that Alexander Bauer was appointed as the technical director of the "Ilbirs" Academy in December 2023.
