The Kyrgyzstan Football Championship of the 2025 season concluded with the triumph of the "Bars" team from Karakol.

The "Bars" team is a true phenomenon. It was founded only in December 2024, but managed to win gold medals in its first season. Unlike three other newcomers, the roster of "Bars" includes experienced players for whom this is not their first championship.

The team's first coach, Alexander Krestinin, did not believe in the success of "Bars" and left the team in the summer after a defeat in the Talant Cup. In an interview, he expressed doubts about the team's ability to compete for titles.

Interestingly, there was one player on the team who could be relied upon for the championship. However, I do not want to diminish the contributions of other footballers who also played a part in the victory. The statistics speak for themselves.

Now let’s talk about Magomed Uzdenov.

The central midfielder began his career in 2011 at "TsESNA" in the Kazakhstan Championship. He made his debut in the Kyrgyzstan Championship only in the summer of 2019, after being without a club in January and signing a contract with "Dordoi" in July. This team interrupted the hegemony of "Alay" in 2018 by winning the championship title.

In his first season, Uzdenov played only 7 matches and helped "Dordoi" defend the title, which became his first championship in his career.

In 2020, during the pandemic, "Dordoi" became champions again, and Uzdenov played 12 out of 14 matches and once again became the champion of Kyrgyzstan.

In 2021, "Dordoi" won again, battling against "Abdysh-Ata" and "Alga," and Uzdenov played 23 out of 28 matches.

In November 2021, Krestinin left the team, and he was replaced by Murat Jumakeev. After that, Uzdenov, Kairat Jyrgalbek uulu, and Farhat Musabekov left the club, which deprived the team of the championship title for a long time.

Jyrgalbek uulu and Musabekov continued their careers in Kazakhstan, while Uzdenov signed a contract with "Abdysh-Ata," which had never won a title but had come close, losing to "Dordoi."

Uzdenov quickly became a leader at "Abdysh-Ata," participating in 23 matches out of 27, scoring 5 goals and providing 10 assists. He became part of the team that won the championship for the first time in its history, and the player himself secured his fourth consecutive title.

In 2023, "Abdysh-Ata" successfully defended its title and made its debut in the AFC Challenge Cup. Uzdenov again proved himself as one of the leaders, scoring two goals and making two assists in 20 matches. In the spring, Musabekov joined the team, and in the summer, Jyrgalbek uulu.

In 2024, "Abdysh-Ata" reached the semifinals of the AFC Cup and won its third consecutive title. Uzdenov received his sixth consecutive title.

In the summer, the team entered the group stage of the new AFC tournament but failed to advance to the playoffs, losing to opponents on goal difference.

After successes in the AFC Cup, the management of "Abdysh-Ata" decided to change course, announcing a priority on young players. As a result, Uzdenov, Jyrgalbek uulu, Musabekov, Bekzhan Sagynbaev, Marcel Islamkulov, and others left the club. These players decided to create a new club, "Bars," which had just emerged on the football scene.

Aleksandr Krestinin returned as head coach, having already worked with many players at "Dordoi."

"Bars" had a mixed season but gathered itself at the right moment and delivered nine consecutive victories, becoming champions on the first attempt. For many players, this is not their first title, but for Uzdenov, it became his seventh in a row, already with three different teams. In the next season, "Bars" may debut in the AFC Challenge Cup, and we hope that the "Uzdenov effect" will manifest not only in the Kyrgyzstan Championship!

P.S. The midfielder of the French national team and "Al-Nassr," Kingsley Coman, became a champion for 11 consecutive years, playing for PSG, Juventus, and Bayern Munich. In the 2023-2024 season, only Bayer under Xabi Alonso managed to stop him.

We wish Uzdenov and his teams to break the Frenchman's record!
