On December 20, the Olympic team of Kyrgyzstan U-23 flew to Ajman, United Arab Emirates, to complete their preparation for the 2026 Asian Cup.
According to the Kyrgyz Football Union, during the training camps, the team will play two friendly matches in a closed format. These camps will last until January 2, after which the team will head to Jeddah to participate in the continental championship.
The final matches of the U-23 Asian Cup will take place in Saudi Arabia from January 6 to 24. Kyrgyzstan will be in Group A, where their opponents will be teams from Vietnam, Jordan, and the tournament hosts - Saudi Arabia.
Before the departure, the General Secretary of the KFS, Mederbek Sydykov, met with the players, wishing them successful preparation and good luck in the upcoming tournament, sources report.
