Women are perplexed about how to survive on 8,000 soms a month
A group of mothers raising children with disabilities has appealed for support to President Sadyr Japarov and head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev. Their video appeal was posted in the "Sokol.Media" public group.
The women emphasized that the monthly assistance of 8,000 soms is completely insufficient for the full treatment of their children. They note that many medications are expensive, and some necessary drugs are impossible to find in pharmacies, forcing them to search for medications on their own through specialized groups.
In addition, there is also a problem with housing. According to the mothers, landlords often refuse to rent apartments to families with children who have disabilities.
“We receive an allowance of 8,000 soms a month, but this money is not enough for anything. Medications are very expensive. Finding housing with children is also difficult. We ask for help in solving these problems,” they stated in their appeal.
Earlier, a video with a similar appeal from mothers to President Sadyr Japarov had already appeared on social media.
