High-ranking officials participated in the discussion: the deputy authorized representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Talas region, Maksat Baizhigitov, Colonel of Police Asrol Tantieff — deputy head of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, as well as Lieutenant Colonel of Police Edil Osmonbekov, who serves as the deputy head of the department for ensuring road safety.
The main subject of discussion was the issues related to safety on the Suusamyr–Talas–Taraz highway, where construction work is currently being carried out by a Chinese company. Meeting participants emphasized the necessary measures to prevent traffic accidents, including the installation of temporary road signs and the creation of safe conditions for drivers.
As a result of the meeting, specific instructions were given for the implementation of comprehensive measures aimed at addressing the issues raised during the discussion, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies.
