A requiem rally was held in Osh, dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade. The city administration announced the holding of this commemorative event.

Representatives of the city administration, the Consulate General of Russia, the Russian House in Osh, the Council of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan, the Assembly of Friendship of the Peoples of Kyrgyzstan, as well as students from local schools were present at the rally.

The rally began with the laying of wreaths at the memorial complex "Eternal Flame." Participants honored the memory of the fallen with a moment of silence, emphasizing the importance of lifting the blockade of Leningrad for the city of Osh.

During the event, participants also took part in a memory action, trying a piece of bread, which was a symbol of the daily ration of Leningrad residents during those difficult times. The rally concluded with the laying of flowers at the memorial.
