
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense Colonel Almazbek Kulmurzaev, who noted in his address that the Siege of Leningrad will always symbolize resilience, courage, and the unity of peoples.





During the event, archival documents were handed over to the relatives of soldiers missing in action during the Great Patriotic War. These materials were found and digitized at the direction of the Ministry of Defense leadership, and their collection was carried out by military personnel from the ministry's lyceum, based on information from the Central Archive of the Russian Federation.
At the conclusion of the event, a moment of silence was announced in memory of the fallen, and three volleys of the honor guard were fired.
