Among the participants of the event were the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, foreign guests, public figures, as well as representatives from the culture and arts sector.
The Minister noted that Begaliev's contribution to the development of musical art in Kyrgyzstan is invaluable. The composer, who dedicated a significant part of his life to music, has greatly contributed to the popularization of Kyrgyz culture on the international stage, he emphasized.
According to information from the Ministry of Culture, works such as "The Last Day of Pompeii," "Melodies of Childhood," "Festive Overture," "Manas Sonata," and "Kyrgyz Suite" have gained wide recognition both on national and international stages.
For his outstanding achievements in the field of culture, Muratbek Akimovich was awarded the Order of "Manas" III degree. Starting from September 2024, he will head the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev.
