Almaz Sarlykbekov held the position of chief director at the Naryn Regional Musical and Dramatic Theater named after M. Ryskulov, and was also the artistic director of the Kyrgyz Drama Theater named after T. Abdumomunov and the Theater for Young Spectators named after B. Kydykeeva.
Among his works, notable performances include "Tuzduu Chöl," "Adam jana Azazil," "Ömür jana ökünch," "Talant jana tagdyr," and "JaaBars." He was the first to present Shakespeare's "King Lear" on stage and the play "Kün karmagan bala" by S. Raev.
The performances created under Sarlykbekov's guidance continue to be an important part of theater repertoires today.
As part of the anniversary event, the audience will be presented with a documentary film, congratulations, and the performance "Talant jana tagdyr," created by Almaz Sarlykbekov himself.
