This performance is one of the most beloved in the repertoire of the Kyrgyz Theater of Opera and Ballet, and this time it will be presented in an updated format. In anticipation of the tour to cities in Spain, the ballet troupe has prepared new, bright, and impressive costumes that were sewn in a short time. The audience in Bishkek will be able to appreciate the craftsmanship of the theater's tailoring workshop under the guidance of experienced specialist Irina Valiakhmetova.
The production of "Don Quixote" was directed by the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic and laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, Uran Sarbagyshov.
The main roles will be performed by:
- Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Sydykov (Basil);
- Valery Razumeyko (Don Quixote);
- Kadir Toktogulov (Sancho Panza);
- Eles Arykov (Gamache), Atabek Sadyrkulov (Espada);
- Meirim Sultakayeva will perform the role of Kitri for the first time.
