Monumentalist. Painter. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on August 1, 1948, in the city of Frunze, Kyrgyz SSR. In 1967, he graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School, and in 1972 - from the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Painting of the Moscow Higher Artistic and Industrial School (formerly Stroganov School). From 1972 to 1974, he taught composition and painting at the Frunze Art College, from 1972 to 1990 - he was a monumental artist at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, and from 1986 to 1989 - the chief artist of the Kyrgyz Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev.

He is one of the leading monumental painters. He participated in the creation of a complex of monumental and decorative works in the interiors and exteriors of the Osh Kyrgyz Drama Theater, the "Kyrgyz Seaside" boarding house on Issyk-Kul, the Naryn Musical Drama Theater, and the Kyrgyz Circus in Bishkek.

In easel painting, the artist works on genre paintings, portraits, and landscapes. His work is characterized by an emotional interpretation of the subject, attention to the character and state of a person and nature, and the search for expressive coloristic and compositional solutions.

He has been awarded a certificate of honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Participant in republican and international exhibitions. His works are in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev; as well as in private collections.

Since 1976, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
