Valery Stepanovich Ulitin
Painter. Born in 1941. Graduated from the Frunze Art School in 1962.
From 1982 to 1983, he worked at the Osh branch of the Art Fund, and from 1964 to 1976, he was a teacher at the art studio of the RND Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR. From 1976 to 1984, he served as the chief artist of the VDNH of the Kyrgyz SSR. Since 2001, he has been an artist at the State Opera and Ballet Theater.
The artist has designed the interiors of several museums in the republic. He participated in the development of the Coat of Arms of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Together with M. Sharafitdinov, he created sketches for the decorations of the Bolshoi Theatre for the Days of Kyrgyz Culture in Moscow in 2003. His works are held in private collections abroad.
