The ceremony took place on November 25 at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic and gathered many honored guests, including the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev and a representative of the President's Administration, Mayrambek Kalibayev.
In his speech, Mambetaliev emphasized the importance of updating the infrastructure of the music school and constructing new concert halls, as well as outlining priority areas for the development of educational programs in the field of culture and arts.
During the festive event, guests were able to enjoy performances by students and alumni, who performed both classical and contemporary works of Kyrgyz music. As part of the celebration, a film dedicated to the school's anniversary titled "Music Calling to the World" was also presented.
In addition, several school staff members received the "Excellence in Culture" badges for their contributions.
According to the Ministry of Culture, over six decades of its existence, the M. Abdrayev Music School-Boarding School has established itself as a leading cultural center in Kyrgyzstan, nurturing many talented musicians. Among the first graduates are the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Muratbek Begaliev, Rakhatebek Osmonaliyev, as well as honored artists Ernist Asanaliev and Aida Tashibaeva.
