Attending the celebration were the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, foreign guests, as well as representatives of the public and the arts.
In his speech, the minister emphasized that Muratbek Begaliev, who dedicated a significant part of his life to music, has had a tremendous impact on the popularization of Kyrgyz culture on the international stage. His works, such as "Pompey's Last Day," "Melodies of Childhood," "Holiday Overture," "Manas Sonata," and "Kyrgyz Suite," continue to resonate on both national and international platforms.
Since September 2024, Muratbek Begaliev has held the position of director of the A. Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.
