In Bishkek, the 70th anniversary of the stateswoman Roza Ak Nazarova was celebrated

On December 6, a solemn event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the outstanding stateswoman and initiator of social reforms Roza Aknazarova took place at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

Among the participants in the celebration were the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev, Presidential Advisor Marat Imankulov, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov, as well as the Mayor of the capital Aibek Junushaliev.

Speaking at the event, Nadyrbekov emphasized Roza Aknazarova's significant contribution to the development of social policy and financial management during the years of independence, especially during her work at the Social Fund and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

It was also noted that Roza Aknazarova continues her work as a scholar and mentor, remaining active in her role as a stateswoman.

Roza Korchubekovna Aknazarova was born on December 6, 1955, in the village of Yangi-Bazar, located in the Chatkal district of the Jalal-Abad region. In 1978, she graduated from the Kyrgyz State University named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR, obtaining a degree in "Economics." Her studies were funded by a scholarship named after Karl Marx, and from 1981 to 1985, she studied in graduate school at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Economics in Moscow.

Aknazarova was a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the 5th convocation and served as Minister of Labor and Social Protection from 2001 to 2005. She holds a Doctorate in Economics, is a professor, and is a distinguished economist of Kyrgyzstan.

In June 2000, her name was given to a secondary school in the village of Cholpon in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region.
