
The opening of the renovated building of the Kok-Art Electric Networks (RES) took place in the Jalal-Abad region, attended by the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Talaybek Ibraev. The opening ceremony was part of his working trip to the region.
The major renovation of the building began in March 2025 and was completed in November of the same year. The updated building will accommodate 112 employees, and the total budget of the project amounted to 5.7 million soms, funded by JSC "NESK".
In his speech, Minister Ibraev emphasized the importance of the ongoing changes in the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan and reported on the implementation of other significant projects. He noted that the measures being taken are aimed at eliminating the energy deficit in the country.
"We strive to increase the volume of generation," he noted.
Additionally, the minister pointed out the necessity of creating comfortable working conditions for employees, emphasizing that the new building is intended to improve the quality of service for consumers and create favorable working conditions.
At the conclusion of the event, Ibraev handed over the keys to new special equipment to the employees of the Jalal-Abad PES, which should help improve the quality and speed of electricity supply to the population.
