According to law enforcement agencies, the operations were conducted by employees of the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Kara-Suu District Department of Internal Affairs in collaboration with representatives of the Kara-Suu District Department of the State Committee for National Security for the city of Osh and the Osh region. As a result of joint actions, individuals who allegedly distributed extremist materials on social networks were identified.
During the operational check, it was established that the suspects posted materials related to the organization "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" on their pages. Based on the collected evidence, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 332 of the Criminal Code – "Manufacturing and Distribution of Extremist Materials," and investigative actions are currently underway.
Two citizens have been detained: S. uulu A., born in 2001, and A.M., born in 1997. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Efforts to identify other possible participants in this case are ongoing.
