The food fair took place in the Chui region, as reported by representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the event, as noted in the report, prices for food products were lower than market prices. For example, meat was sold starting at 680 soms, potatoes at 37 soms, and onions at 16 soms.
It is important to note that similar fairs are organized throughout the country, including every district, and in some localities, social trading points are opened where meat can be purchased at affordable prices. Plans for holding fairs will continue until June.
"Currently, the stocks of basic food products are sufficient," the official statement emphasizes.
