Currently, there is no shortage of essential food products in the republic, and the supplies are considered sufficient. The goal of the fairs is to ensure stability in the domestic market and provide quality food products at affordable prices for the population.
In the capital, the fairs take place every Saturday and Sunday. They are organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in cooperation with the Bishkek City Hall. At these events, residents of the capital can purchase products at prices below market rates.

The main task of the fairs is to curb price increases, ensure the availability of products for socially vulnerable groups of the population, support domestic producers, and maintain stability in the domestic market.
In Bishkek, the fairs are held at the following locations:
- T. Usubaliev Square;
- the corner of I. Razzakov and Abdumomunov Streets;
- Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
- the products must comply with sanitary and hygienic standards and be of high quality;
- prices must be lower than market rates;
- a confirmation letter from the district agricultural administration must be provided.
