As explained by Aizhamal Kadyrkulova, acting head of the district's agricultural development department, this event was initiated to monitor the rise in food prices, ensure affordable products for socially vulnerable groups, and support local producers.
The fair offered a variety of products: lamb was sold at a price of 600 soms per kilogram, turkey ranged from 3,000 to 6,000 soms, and safflower oil was priced at 200 soms per liter. In addition, the stalls featured beef offal, bozo, vegetables, fruits, jams, and other food products.
In light of the rising prices for socially important food items and numerous appeals from citizens, the agricultural development department urged farmers and producers in the district to participate in fairs on a regular basis, offering their products at affordable prices without intermediaries.
