From December 27 to 31, New Year food fairs will be held in Kyrgyzstan

As part of the preparations for the New Year holidays, fairs will be held daily from December 27 to 31. Local farmers, producers, and craftsmen will participate, offering socially significant food products to residents.

Currently, the republic has sufficient stocks of basic products, which eliminates any market shortages.

The goal of the fairs is to ensure stability in the domestic market and provide the population with high-quality goods at reduced prices. In Bishkek, such events are also held every Saturday and Sunday with the support of the city administration.

The organizers are the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Bishkek city administration. The fairs will offer prices below market rates for food products for the capital's residents.

The main tasks of the fairs include:

containing price increases;

ensuring affordable products for socially vulnerable groups of the population;

supporting local producers;

maintaining stability in the domestic market.

Locations for the fairs in Bishkek:

T. Usubaliev Square;

the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets;

Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).

Participants must comply with the following requirements:

the products provided must meet sanitary and hygienic standards;

prices must be below market rates;

there must be a confirming letter from the district agricultural administration.
