The food fair in Naryn was held, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
The Ministry reported that at the fair, a kilogram of meat was sold for 650 soms, and suzmo for 150 soms, while other goods were offered at affordable prices.
According to the agency, a schedule for such fairs has been established in each region of the country, and local authorities are required to ensure their quality execution and the provision of goods turnover.
Among the most popular products were grains: wheat cost 25 soms, oats — 20 soms.
The ministry emphasizes that there is currently no shortage of basic food products in the republic, and stocks are at a sufficient level. The fairs are aimed at ensuring stability in the domestic market and offering citizens quality products at acceptable prices.
It is also noted that such events support the agricultural sector and contribute to economic activity in the regions.
