In Tokmok, according to information from local residents, meat is being sold at a price of 680 soms, however, the actual cost reaches 800 soms.

On November 17, 2025, events aimed at preventing unjustified price increases for essential food products, including meat, were held at the central market of Tokmok, with the participation of individual entrepreneurs.

As part of these events, representatives of the city administration, employees of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service for the Chui region, and other relevant organizations came to the city. They conducted explanatory talks with traders, reminding them of the obligation to adhere to the established prices.

Antimonopoly service specialists emphasized the importance of selling meat at the established price. As a result of monitoring, it was reported that currently, prices for meat products remain stable.

The Tokmok city administration reminded that the price set by the Antimonopoly Service should not exceed 680 soms per kilogram. Citizens are urged to record and report sales at inflated prices, providing photo and video materials.

Nevertheless, residents of the city claim that sellers indicate a price of 680 soms only for reporting purposes, while the actual price per kilogram of meat can reach 800 soms.
