The Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh supported the bill to strengthen control over the activities of homeowners' associations

During the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on industrial policy, transport, energy, architecture, and construction, a bill concerning amendments to the legislation on homeowners' associations for residential and non-residential premises in apartment buildings was supported.

First Deputy Minister of Justice Almazbek Zarylbek uulu emphasized that the proposed amendments aim to improve the functioning of homeowners' associations. In particular, the bill includes measures aimed at preventing signature forgery, excluding illegal participation of third parties, as well as clarifying the procedure for determining quorum and the legitimacy of decisions made.

He also noted that an important innovation is the requirement for the registration of homeowners' associations based on notarized documents. This innovation is expected to enhance the transparency of their activities and protect the rights of residents.
