During a meeting with representatives of the state enterprise "Unaa," President Sadyr Japarov reported that over the past ten years, 75,000 road traffic accidents have been registered in Kyrgyzstan.
The head of state noted that as a result of these accidents, 9,120 people lost their lives, and 13,260 sustained various injuries. It is noteworthy that approximately half of the injured have become disabled, which creates additional social obligations for the state, including the payment of benefits.
The president emphasized that the figures presented highlight the seriousness of the road safety situation and the need for systemic measures to address this issue.
