A citizen in the Nooken district, who had long ignored the court's decision regarding alimony payments, faced enforcement measures. This was reported by the Bailiff Service.
According to information from the agency, the man accumulated a debt of 351,224 soms while evading his obligations. Despite the explanatory work carried out and various measures taken, the debtor continued to refuse to pay alimony.
In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 178, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The citizen N.N.S. was arrested.
By the decision of the Nooken District Court, issued on January 30, 2026, a measure of restraint in the form of one month of detention was chosen for this citizen.
The Bailiff Service emphasized that evading alimony payments entails both civil and criminal liability.
